  • By decision of the Government of Mexico, as of November 9, 2012, the visa requirement for visitors is eliminated, without permission to carry out paid activities, for up to 180 days for nationals of Colombia and Peru, as a measure to facilitate the movement of people between the countries that make up the Pacific Alliance. This measure applies to the quality of tourist, business person or temporary visitor, as long as the modality does not imply a lucrative activity.
  • Visitors must obtain a Multiple Immigration Form. There is no charge for a tourist FMM for stays of less than 7 days when entering by land. For visitors staying more than 7 days and entering by land, it will cost 687 Mexican Pesos or nearly 40 USD. The FMM is required for all visitors entering via air, regardless of length of stay, and the cost is included in the traveler's airfare and remitted by the airline.
